Update on December 17, 2025 at 8:15AM PT: We’re launching new features for Edits to help your videos stand out, reflect your vision, and speak to your audience. New Video Effects: We’re launching new AI-powered video effects, enabled by our new SAM 3 model , that you can add to specific people or objects in your videos.
You can now apply a fun effect like Scribble, Outline, or Glitter, tag an outfit, blur an object, and more. Reels in Edits : You can now easily add Reels to your videos. Just choose a Reel from our public library, then remix it, react to it, or use it for inspiration in your own video.
If your Reel is used in someone else’s video, you’ll be credited in the remixed video. Title Cards: Now, you can use ready-to-go professionally-styled video titles to capture your audience’s attention from the start. Storyboards: Storyboards in Edits gives you a place to easily plan out your videos so you can get them just right.
Use storyboard to map out scripts, teleprompter cues, video clips, and notes for your edit. Text and Caption Updates: Explore a library of text styles that combine fonts, colors, animations, and effects that you can use to level up your videos. Plus, we’re expanding our library to include more fonts available for indic languages.
Templates: Use templates to quickly create great videos using popular music, eye-catching fonts, or time clips that match the beat of the music used in your video. You can also share new templates for others to try, whether to start a trend or just share your own creativity.
We’ll keep updating Edits and adding new features that support and enhance your video editing process from start to finish.
